WordPress is the perfect solution for customers who want to maintain their own sites without having to learn how to code to do it. If you’re familiar with using Microsoft Word, you’ll be right at home with WordPress. And I’ll provide you with pdf files, links to tutorials, and my own video\/instructional tutorials to get you up to speed and familiar with the platform.<\/p>\n

For those who don’t want to get bogged down with regular site maintenance, I can fulfill that responsibility for you. A monthly retainer will keep your site current while freeing you up to do what you do best-running your business.<\/p>\n

  WordPress Site Maintenance<\/h3>\n

  Continued maintenance of your WordPress website is not only essential for the proper functioning of the site, but is also the primary defense against hackers and malware that can target sites that are not consistently maintained.<\/p>\n

  What is involved:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • update plugins (as necessary)<\/li>\n
  • update WordPress (as necessary)<\/li>\n
  • update theme (as necessary)<\/li>\n
  • backup to secure server (this is an additional charge)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Updates to plugins and themes may necessitate some layout reconfigurations due to changes in code. Changes taking longer than one half hour will be billed at the studio rate of $75\/hr. Updates will be performed as they become available, and billed monthly. Database backups will be performed weekly and a full backup (graphics included) will be performed monthly.<\/p>\n

    Maintenance contracts start at $75\/month.<\/p>\n

    Advanced Option<\/strong><\/p>\n

    In addition to your plugins, theme and WordPress core files being updated each month, your website will be backed up to a secure server. This will include your graphics files as well as your database. Database backups will be performed weekly and a full backup (graphics included) will be performed monthly. The Advanced Option is available for an additional $25\/month.<\/p>\n
